Ask before unforwarding

If you don't understand why do reposts also have a lockout feature? Does the developer have statistics on how many people are using this “forward → lock beep” function?
- I think it's boring. I have to move my finger to the bottom of the screen and click more every time. The meaning of retweeting is for more people to see
- At least let people who don't like this crappy feature turn it off
thanks
If you don't want to publicly retweet, you can bookmark or like it. Bold guess that every instance has a bookmark and like button, why not block the retweet.
Also, confirmation before forwarding on the web is an optional feature, and tooot has become a mandatory feature. I hope the developers will do some research before adding mandatory features to see if they need to provide a shutdown option.

Currently we have to click boost then click again to choose the type of boost…I’d like an option to click public boost with one click button…

It’s very annoying to have to click twice to boost…

Boost without having to select public or unlisted first

Currently boosting opens a menu. It would be preferable to execute the action and move the option to a global preference setting.

I think there should be an option to automatically repost publically/unlisted instead of choosing every time

A long time ago, many people asked to retweet the confirmation because it was easy to misunderstand, that's all. The other post you replied to was just an added feature.
There's no way one app can meet everyone's diverse needs. And I don't want to add a bunch of configuration options for all kinds of needs.
I'll consider whether to modify or remove this feature later.

tooot: But now you think there's no way to turn off the add-on; it's actually a mandatory feature. The web version of Maoxiang allows you to choose whether to confirm before forwarding, so at least provide a button so you can close it.
It's true that there's no way to meet everyone's needs, but that doesn't mean it can't be improved. I have helped you do small-scale research, and have also proposed solutions that can meet the needs of both parties. I don't understand why you still think this shouldn't/ can't be solved right now. There are also voting results, which has affected the user experience for many people. May I ask if you think this solution of adding a close button to turn a mandatory function into an optional function cannot be implemented for the time being because it has not been considered?

tooot: First, thank the author very, very much for maintaining and updating this app. I'm the group of people who think this feature is pretty good. Sometimes Boost really doesn't want to be sent to public tl, and it's also a great way to prevent mistakes. Also, I think the Chinese response below is really rude. It's really nice that tooot can also have a feature request forum as a free app.

Harmless Blackcat: Exactly. Thank you for understanding!

Additional comments. At least give me a button to turn it off; it pops up every time you tap, which really affects the user experience.
